Scope and Contents
The records of the UCSF AIDS Health Project include administrative and funding materials, including meeting minutes, grants and contracts, and working files including program and research study records, engagement with various committees and organizations, and event and conference materials. The records also include publications and ephemera, including reports and manuals, flyers and brochures, posters, realia, newsletters, and clippings, and audiovisual material, including video and audio recordings and film. A very small amount of computer media is included in the collection, comprised of floppy disks noted at the folder level. The collection predominantly relates to HIV/AIDS and mental health, testing, counseling, social services, clinical care, fundraising, education and outreach, substance abuse, and gay health.

Collection is open for research. The UCSF Archives and Special Collections policy places access restrictions on material with privacy issues for a specific time period from the date of creation.
