25th St. Photograph Collection
This collection is organized into eleven series by subject. Included are photos of staff and patients, various departments, hospital buildings an events, scrapbooks, and architectural images. Formats include prints, negatives, and slides.
1930s Historical Photograph Collection
This collection contains 4x5 cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate negatives and some prints of SFGH in the 1930s. Included are images of the outside of the hospital, patient rooms, equipment, ambulances, and emergency hospitals.
A Collection of Corinne Lightweaver’s Publications with AIDS Project of the East Bay (APEB)
A collection of newspaper and journal articles documenting the history and activities of the AIDS Project of the East Bay (APEB), including issues of San Francisco Sentinel and other newspapers.
Joan I. Ablon Papers,
The papers include correspondence, meeting minutes and related publications of the Community Mental Health Training Program at LPPI, colloquia for community mental health educators, reflecting Dr. Ablon's participation in this program. Also part of the collections are materials on mental health programs throughout the city of San Francisco, and outside the city.

Academy for Educational Development videotape collection
Master videotapes and window dubs of source footage used to create Women and Tobacco: Seven Deadly Myths, a smoking cessation film produced for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Office on Smoking and Health by the Academy for Educational Development. The collection consists of 20 Beta tapes, 25 VHS tapes, 3 large format masters (1 3/4", 2 Betacam SP), and 2 Jaz disks (Mac formatted).
ACT-UP Golden Gate records
Though donated by and named after ACT-UP Golden Gate, a significant portion of the materials are from 1990 and earlier, before ACT-UP GG separated from ACT-UP San Francisco, in September of that year. The largest amount of material concerns ACT-UP actions and responses to the 6th International AIDS Conference which was held in San Francisco in June of 1990. There are also materials about the 5th and 7th conferences and materials from ACT-UP Golden Gate's Treatment Issues Committee.
AIDS community-based organizations records
This collection consists of information from 26 different Community based AIDS Organizations, collected by Willie Walker as part of the University of California San Francisco's AIDS History Project.
AIDS history project audio/video collection
This collection was assembled from a number of different audio/visual (mostly VHS and other video format) material donations, acquired by the Library as a part of the AIDS History Project. Materials range from Public Service Announcements (PSAs), television and radio news clippings, professional and amateur documentaries and features, to rough cuts. All deal with the medical and social aspects of AIDS and HIV, with a focus on prevention and correcting misconceptions about the disease.
