This series contains Conant's AIDS and/or AIDS-KS Subject files and is arranged alphabetically from "Articles in Newspapers" to "Ways and Means Committee." It includes materials on the controversy surrounding the closing of the bathhouses, the administration and funding of the AIDS Clinical Research Center, the KS (later San Francisco AIDS) Foundation, and various other research, funding, prevention, and legal materials. A few folders contain pre-AIDS articles dating from the 1960s or 1970s.
