Content Description
This collection contains the publications and writing files of Corrine Lightweaver and LGBTQ-centered magazines and newspapers, to which Lightweaver has featured work. The bulk of the collection focuses on Lightweaver’s writings during her tenure with AIDS Project of the East Bay (also known as APEB) and the LGBTQ-centered written works of other journalists from 1985-1989—focused on AIDS activism and LBGTQ+ experiences in Oakland, San Francisco, and other parts of the San Francisco Bay Area.
