Biography
Evangeline Harris Olmsted was a graduate of Oxford University, in classics. She married James Montrose Duncan Olmsted, PhD on June 30, 1927. Dr. Olmsted was professor of physiology at the University of California Berkeley/San Francisco.
She translated classical works, wrote short stories and collaborated with her husband in numerous historical works, one of which was a major work on Claude Bernard.
