Scope and Contents

The collection contains UC Domestic Parnership benefit changes and letters asking for domestic partnership benefits.The collections also includes banners, posters, notes, and also Martin Luther King, Jr. committees.

Conditions Governing Access

Collection is open for research. The UCSF Archives and Special Collections policy places access restrictions on material with privacy issues for a specific time period from the date of creation. Restrictions are noted at the series level. This collection will be reviewed for sensitive content upon request. Contact the UCSF Archivist for information on access to restricted files.

Abstract

The LGBT Resource Center provides individual and group consultation, educational workshops, and training to the campus community and medical center about issues that impact LGBTQIA+ people. Together with the Office of Diversity and Outreach, they also provide trainings on greater diversity issues and intersections of identity.

Arrangement

The collection is arranged into 5 series: UC Domestic Partnership Benefits, 1997-2003; Correspondence, 2000-2002; Committees and Associations, 1993-2004; Conferences/ Meetings, 2001-2002; Posters, undated. The collection also has subject headed folders.
