Robert B. Aird papers
Content Description
Robert B. Aird worked first as a neurosurgeon and then as a neurologist at the University of California at San Francisco. He was made the first chair when the Department of Neurology was created in 1949 and was professor and chair until his retirement in 1966. This collection includes papers, photographs, travel diaries, books, ephemera, and medical instruments including canvas surgical roll with instruments, stethoscope, haemacytometer, blood pressure apparatus, and Vappler Electric Co. scope.
