UCSF AIDS Health Project records
The UCSF AIDS Health Project (AHP) began its HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and counseling efforts in 1984 with support from the San Francisco Department of Public Health. AHP staff conducted research and provided mental health and social services to youth, gay men, minority communities, drug users, and other populations. The AHP records include administrative and funding materials, working files, publications and ephemera, and audiovisual material, dated 1980-2008.

UCSF Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (CAPS) records
The UCSF Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (CAPS) was established in 1986 to train scientists and stimulate new research projects that impact the practice, theory, and policy of HIV/AIDS prevention and keep pace with the changing epidemic. The CAPS records include reports, meeting and conference materials, correspondence, grant applications, committee and research project materials, and clippings and publications, dated 1984-2004.
UCSF Chancellor's Advisory Committee on the Status of Women records
The Committee on the Status of Women was preceded by the Advisory Committee on Equal Opportunity for Women, appointed by Chancellor Lee in 1971. The committee addressed questions of the status (numbers, promotion levels, tenure) of women faculty at UCSF, of sexual harassment, conducted surveys on childbearing and child care and issued reports on these subjects. The collection is comprised of correspondence, meeting minutes, subject files, and reports.
UCSF Committee on Arts and Lectures records
The Committee on Arts and Lectures organized lectures and performances for the UCSF community from 1939-1972. Collection contains lecture transcripts, event programs, photographs and audiotapes. Includes materials contained in a scrapbook belonging to Salvatore Pablo Lucia, lecture transcripts of talks given by Barnaby Conrad, Alfred R. Sumner, and Chauncey D. Leake (to name a few), as well as photographs of various speakers such as photographer, Ansel Adams.
