Books were compiled for speeches delivered in 1969, 1970, and 1971-73. The individual speeches include testimony before the Senate committee on Veterans Affairs in 1971 and undated speech entitled: "Health Planning: A View from the Top."

Lee's early speeches delivered to a variety of audiences including: Rotary Clubs, medical societies, and Seminars. The earliest speech is hand written later ones are typescript. Some folders also include reprints or preprints of published speeches, handwritten notes, multiple drafts or versions of a speech, and correspondence concerning the speech. At least one speech also has photographic illustrations.
